Aug. 29, 2025, SEOUL, KOREA – K-pop sensation IVE is reigning once again with their 4^th EP ‘IVE SECRET,’ released on Aug. 25, achieving global chart success with music that explores the deeper layers behind their glamorous façade.

The music video of the lead single ‘XOXZ’ ranked 1^st on YouTube Korea’s trending music videos chart for three days in a row upon its release and topped the platform’s daily popular music videos chart (as of Aug. 26). It also claimed 1^st place on multiple charts including Genie’s daily music video (Aug. 25-6) and VIBE’s Top 50 music videos (Aug. 26-7). ‘XOXZ’ continues to gain traction beyond Korea as well, hitting No. 1 on the overall music video chart of QQ Music – the largest music platform in China – and No. 4 on YouTube Japan’s daily popular music videos chart (as of Aug. 26).

‘XOXZ’s performance on major domestic platforms is another noteworthy aspect demonstrating IVE’s strong chart presence. Upon its release, it soared to No. 1 on Melon’s HOT100 (for songs released within 30 days) and VIBE’s domestic rising chart, while securing No. 2 on Bug’s real-time and daily charts and No. 4 on Melon’s HOT100 (for songs released within 100 days.)

‘XOXZ’ – a term coined by IVE meaning “I love you, good night. And let’s meet in our dreams” – is defined by heavy 808 bass, bold brass, and tight drums that sustain continuous tension, layered with deep-toned rap and minimal vocals that create a dreamy aura. Member Wonyoung contributed to its lyrics to enrich IVE’s distinct musical narrative.

‘IVE SECRET’ also offers ‘Wild Bird,’ ‘Dear, My Feelings,’ ‘GOTCHA (Baddest Eros,)’ ‘♥beats,’ and ‘Midnight Kiss.’ For ‘Midnight Kiss,’ member Liz took part in penning the lyrics, proving her creative talents.
