April 25, 2026, SEOUL, KOREA – “Drowning” star WOODZ is putting out “EVERGLOW” on April 25 (KST,) joining the already star-filled OST lineup for Kakao Entertainment’s hit production “Perfect Crown.” Adding his delicate yet explosive vocals to the drama, the all-round artist is set to take the story’s romantic tension to the next level. 

As part of its IP value chain strategy, Kakao Entertainment is handling the production and distribution of the OST. The A-list lineup features its label artists – including WOODZ, KiiiKiii, hrtz.wav and RIIZE – alongside K-pop acts from diverse genres such as BOYNEXTDOOR.

‘EVERGLOW’

WOODZ’s “EVERGLOW” – the sixth OST of “Perfect Crown” – will elevate the drama’s romantic atmosphere and narrative depth as the relationship between Seong Huiju (IU) and Grand Prince Ian (Byeon Woo-seok) deepens. Starting with a calm piano melody, “EVERGLOW” gradually expands into a grand band arrangement with warm string instruments. With his delicate yet powerful vocals, WOODZ crafts a dramatic emotional arc as sorrow and hope intertwine. The song resonates deeply with listeners as it aligns with the narrative of the protagonists, who gradually grow feelings for each other.

WOODZ, known for his musical versatility, crosses a wide range of genres ranging from sentimental ballads to intense rock sounds. A day earlier, acclaimed singer-songwriter HANRORO released “Our Goodbye,” the fifth OST from “Perfect Crown.” Subtly capturing the unfolding emotional journey of the main characters, the track is a synth-pop song that blends dreamy soundscapes with HANRORO’s distinctive vocals. Reflecting the characters’ complex inner progression throughout the story – ranging from thrill and anxiety to anticipation and hesitation – the track portrays how their relationship continues to evolve. HANRORO is one of the most notable singer-songwriters today, known for capturing the complex sentiments of youth. Boasting delicately layered vocals built upon restrained emotions, her latest singles including “Landing in Love” and “0+0” have become hits on streaming charts. 

The “Perfect Crown” OST is generating global buzz by aligning its tracks with key moments in each scene. BIBI’s “My Pace,” the first track to be unveiled, highlights Seong Huiju’s bold and fearless attitude. KiiiKiii’s “Go On” plays during a scene where she boldly flirts with the prince, while BOYNEXTDOOR’s “No Doubt” captures the prince’s inner intricacy and his feelings toward Huiju. RIIZE “Behind The Scene” adds a romantic mood during moments the pair share, heightening their heart-fluttering chemistry. Notably, the OSTs have charted on iTunes in various countries including Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand, while also landing on Melon’s Hot 100 chart.
