December 20, 2024, SEOUL, KOREA – High-profile boy group GOT7 is slated to make a full-group comeback after three years, seeking to heat up the music scene with its unique blend of musicality and chemistry.

Kakao Entertainment has announced that GOT7, consisting of JAY B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam and Yugyeom, will drop a new mini-album, “WINTER HEPTAGON” on Jan. 20, 2025, and take part in diverse promotional activities as a septet.

The upcoming album is the result of the concerted efforts of all seven members, who were eager to repay their fans’ love in celebration of the 11th anniversary of their debut.

Kakao Entertainment has planned and produced GOT7’s new album with the goal of showcasing high-quality content that resonates with the group’s global fans. Given that it’s GOT7’s new release in many years, Kakao Entertainment has made the best use of its music planning, production and marketing capabilities to create an album highlighting the group’s distinctive musical color and magnetism.

GOT7’s leader JAY B recently announced the group’s comeback during his solo concert, “TAPE : RELOAD,” which was also attended by Mark, Youngjae and others. His announcement thrilled his fans, but their excitement reached new heights after the news of GOT7’s comeback and the release date of its fresh album were made official.

Following its debut in 2014, GOT7 has rolled out a string of hits including, “Never Ever,” “Lullaby,” “Hard Carry” and “You Are,” widening K-pop’s scope.

The group blended diverse music genres like hip-hop and R&B with its powerful performances, carving out its own niche in the cutthroat K-pop industry. It is also renowned for its unique musical style, with all seven members actively involved in producing their music. In 2022, the group’s 12th mini-album, “GOT7” notched the No. 1 spot in on iTunes top album chart in 95 regions around the world.

For its new album, GOT7 plans to display their talents to the fullest while showing off its irreplaceability and the close-knit bond among the members. The members, who have been actively building their careers as solo artists, actors and entertainers both at home and abroad, will present top-notch music, performances and chemistry together this time, seeking to capture the hearts of their global fans.
